When a person dies…

You turn blank and stunned

Mind blabbers two words “Oh Shit”!

A chill runs down your spine

You curse the God for it

And a tear or two trickles down you eye

All the memories that you had shared together come to mind

And you feel sadness beyond explanation

But, there’s nothing you can do about it

Coz the person is dead after all…

The toughest part still remains
You ought to move on
The memories won't leave
And nights would seem darker
Ironically, all jokes seem dry
When life turns serious on you
You wish for things to end differently
